  • The University celebrates the successful completion of the “AUA 100 Pillars” campaign.

  • AUA hosts Armen Sarkissian following his nomination as the fourth president of the Republic of Armenia (RA).

  • AUA redesigns its brand, drawing inspiration from the famous Armenian painter Martiros Saryan and his works.

  • AUA opens the Student Union, Faculty Center, and Amphitheater adjacent to the Paramaz Avedisian Building (PAB).

  • AUA signs an agreement with the Manoogian Simone Foundation to establish the Manoogian Simone Research Fund to conduct research on topics of priority interest to the Government of RA.

  • The AUA Technology and Innovation Legal Clinic was established in collaboration with the U.S.-based Armenian Bar Association. This is the first of its kind in Armenia and provides legal counseling specific to rapidly growing fields such as technology, engineering, and IT.
