Celebrating the 20th anniversary of AUA

  • The university celebrates its 20th anniversary.
  • 2011 – 2017 Strategic Plan is developed and launched.
  • The CHSR evaluates the Ministry of Health’s Child Health State Certificate Program with financial support from USAID. 
  • AUA launches “Thinking about Thinking” in cooperation with the “Luys” foundation.
  • Acopian Center for the Environment hosts International Scientific Conference on “Biological Diversity and Conservation Problems of the Fauna of the Caucasus.”
  •  AUA hosts 16th scientific meeting of the IFIP Working Group 7.5 on Reliability and Optimization of Structural Systems.
  •  Staff Appreciation Day introduced.
  • The DEP organizes the Armenian Ministry of Education and Science’s English Olympiad and hosts a conference on Challenges and Opportunities for EFL Testing.
  • Three MBA students receive first-place awards in the World Bank’s nationwide essay competition. CBRD completes Phase I of the Ministry of Economy’s Gyumri Technology Incubator Project.
